MAD DOGS NOW READY TO
RELAUNCH

After a disaterious end start to 2008
2009 with Wayne having to pull out
through injury of his voluntary
defence in December 2008. Wayne
subsequently went onto lose his
treasured lonsdale belt in the boards
mandatory defence in a career low
performance.
Wayne was unfortunately hampered
with his training and was not able to
fully shake off  his long
term(fractured leg) injury.
Wayne has now got the all clear April
09 to resume as normal and is eager
to get back in the gym again.
Wayne will be chasing a rematch with
fellow brummi Matthew Macklin to
put the record straight as soon as
possible.
And with Wayne now getting back to
full fitness and focused on getting
back in the title frame,he will be
looking next time round to do the
return fight should Matthew oblige
him the justice it deserves, and
promises this time round to give the
Birmingham public a fight they will
remember for all the right reasons.

MAD DOG TO TAKE PART IN THE BIRMINGHAM FUN RUN

Wayne's first road run since his injury  will see him taking part in the Birmingham fun run this year
to help raise funds to support the Macmillian Cancer support. Come along and show your support
and lets have a good turn out to help represent the great people of Birmingham

The  5km Fun Run starts in Perry Park, then out onto specially closed roads, returning for a
complete lap of the Birmingham Alexander Stadium track to finish.

Last year 1,800 people took part and raised over £70,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support - join us
to make this year even bigger and better.  We would like all entrants to try and raise a minimum of
£50 through sponsorship or donations.

The Fun Run is for the whole community to take part in – everyone can get involved – why not
get the family involved or a group of friends, work colleagues or a team from your school or
college? Why not come in fancy dress?  Ability doesn’t matter - you can run it, walk it or jog it!
